Filter widget based on datapoint values
Hi, I supposefollowing on from my other message about combining CPU and memory in the same table widget, can these widgets be filtered - not dynamic/on demand but statically? Take this example - can I have another table that only shows, for example, resources whose CPU OR Memory OR Uptime is beyond a certain threshold, e.g. ‘where CPU > X OR Memory > Y OR Uptime > Z’ Then expanding on that, I’m aiming for a dedicated dashboard highlighting ‘at risk’ or ‘concerning’ resources, so ideally this filter could be done at the dashboard level (e.g. with a ‘filter’ token)resulting in widgets on that dashboard inheriting the filter. Thanks

Resource Property Filters on the New UI Preview
What exactly is “Resource Property Filters” in the new UI Preview, I tried and tested by creating two filters but I could not make them interdependent or linked to each other example based on what you selected from the first filter will populate set of values in the second filter and so on. I do not see any option to make them interdependent so wondering what exactly is the use, and also are there any plans in to introduce filters in Dashboards? We can use the text widget to see if we can create custom filters but I want to know whetherLM development is coming up with advance filters or not.

Is it possible to use Regex in a Group or AppliesTo filter?
Hi, I need to filter a specific number of machines into a group or datasource. The filter is any machine that has the letter ‘c’ as the second-to-last character before the first period in a name. E.g. abc1.company.com. I have some Regex that will do this ( [^.]*c[^.]\.[^.]*\.[^.] ), but when I try to use it in an AppliesTo it just fails. According to this page: https://www.logicmonitor.com/support/terminology-syntax/scripting-support/what-is-lms I should be able to use =~ or !~ but they both give errors like this: I tried putting it in quotes, parenthesis, quotes and parenthesis, and I couldn’t get it to work. I opened a ticket and they are going to look into it, but I thought I’d post here in case anyone knew if this is possible or not and how to make it work. Thanks!

Sharing Alert console filters? Is it possible?

Why is there no filter in Import from LM Repository?
Hello, why is there no way to filter out the Datasource Repository items so i can find what i'm looking for easier? I have to scroll thru 100's of DS's and hopefully find what I need. Each column should have a filter at the top so we can shorten this list. Can you add this please...

Add RegEx Test option in Data/Event Sources
Please add an option to test RegEx filters in Data and Event sources. This could work like the "Test Script" option where we select a device from any in scope of the Applies To expression.

Enhanced Alert Filtering Options for Alert Widget
Currently the filter setup in the Alert Widget allows us to selectwhich groups, devices/services, data sources, instances and datapoints, etc. The datasource, instance, datapoints are applied to all of the groups and devices. What we need is the ability to specify the datasource, instance and datapoints per group, for example, we need to be able to do the following in one Alert Widget: Groups Devices/Services DataSource Instances DataPoints NetworksUK * * * * Networks DE * Ping * * Networks ZA * Ping * PingLoss|Ping RTT

Make Instance Groups searchable/filterable
Hello, We'd like to request some more usage for instance groups. Right now, it's just not very useful to group instances on a datasource. We have shared devices with datasources belonging to different teams and we have to create dashboards and alarm rules regarding those. Right now, we have to use the wildcard filter in a "creative" way to have shared devicealerts and dashboards from different teams configured. It would be really helpful if the instance-group namecould be used in Filters. Use-Case: * To configure alert rules for shared devices for different teams, we can group all datasource-instances in instance groups named "teamname" and then filter on "teamname", this works even when we use "*" for device/devicegroup, as long as instancegroup "teamname" is persistent over multiple shared devices. * To have dashboards for shared devices on a per-team base, we can filter for the teamname when creating those dashboards. This also works with "*" as device/devicegroup query, so instances on new devices will be added automatically. Regards, Bastian
