UIv4 Chat Icon covers critical page elements
When popping out a support chat, the Chat icon is positioned in a way that prevents a user from saving or cancelling the page element they are on. Specifically this was noticed when I was trying to add a resource. I've added a screenshot for reference. Also, why can't we add screenshots to a feature request form? This would be a much easier way to show the issues that we are facing rather than a simple text field.Solved75Views2likes8CommentsInfo and Overview resource tabs
I’d like to know what is planned to make the overview and info tabs for resources easier to use/more useful. My experience with the info tab is that there is just too much information on it for my day to day tasks. It’s all useful to have, but the details I need most are spread out through a very long list and I honestly don’t remember what the property names of them are most of the time. Is there something in the works to make this easier? If I could pin which properties are most important to me to the top of the screen, that’d be helpful. Being able to put them in a table on the overview tab would also be very helpful. Right now, I’m not really using the overview tab much since I can’t put what would be useful on it. To me these seem like they should be device level dashboards. Are there any plans to add more functionality to this tab? I’d need more tabular data instead of just graphs (important details from the info tab, instance level info from various datasources, etc.)212Views19likes16CommentsDo you use the New UIv4? Any lost functionality?
I’m curious to what degree other power users here actually use the new UI? I took it as a challenge myself this week to start using it since it seems LM is committed to using it. I’m not a fan, but I’m not sure how much of that is just because its new. I struggle to find some things. It took me way too long to find out where the collector debug option was hidden. And I still cant find the “instances” count in the columns of information where it used to be, and I don’t see it as a column I can add. So I’m just wondering, do you all like the new UI? Do you use it? Are there important places where you have lost functionality or information? Thanks!139Views14likes4CommentsIssues with new dynamic filtering feature of UIv4 Dashboards
I really like the new dynamic filtering feature in the UIv4 Dashboards page, I think it really adds a lot more usability/flexibility to dashboards and its probably my favorite thing so far about Uiv4. Having said that, I did notice a few issues after playing around with it: only System and Auto properties are available for filtering. Would be great to allow custom properties to be available as well Would like to be able to save filter “Views” across multiple dashboards, instead of having them need to be created for each dashboard Would like to have saved filter Views available to all users once created, not just the user which created the filter View Internal Websites are being shown on the dashboards, even when filters are set for properties which do not exist on those internal website checks filtering works fine for Resources, but unintended Website checks are being included Only seems to be including Internal Website checks, not External checksSolved75Views4likes4CommentsSLA Widget instance limit in UIv4 Dashboards - no error message when exceeded
The SLA widget (unfortunately) has a 2000-instance limit. In UIv3, when the limit is exceeded the widget will show an error message saying “instance limit of 2000 is exceeded”. So this at least tells me what the issue is. In UIv4, when the instance limit is exceeded for an SLA widget it just says “NaN” with no specific error message. It should at least show the same error message as before so users know why the widget is not populating.54Views7likes0CommentsIssue with SLA Widget in UIv4 Dashboards Page
I noticed that in the UIv4 Dashboards Page, SLA widgets round the calculation for SLA percentage up to the nearest whole number. There is no way to adjust this either. In UIv3 the SLA widget showed 3 decimal placed, for example 99.999% uptime. In Uiv4 it will just say 99% uptime. This is not enough detail for a lot of our customers who have requested us to send them SLA uptime dashboard reports. If they started getting rounded whole numbers for uptime values instead of the 3 decimals they are used to, I am sure we would start getting complaints. Please fix the SLA widget in UIv4 to show 3 decimal places like it does in UIv356Views6likes1CommentReports UIv4 now available!
Reports UIV4 can now be toggled on at the top of the Reports screen. Check out some of the new features including: a revamped reports tree navigation new reports listing overview with search easy report action access This is a per user setting. You can also easily toggle between UIv3 and UIv4 to see what’s changed. The Reports support doc has a more in depth view of what’s now available. We would love to hear your thoughts on the new UI and know more about how we can improve!346Views20likes11Comments
