Hi Stuart,
I have added the data source, once thing observed is, i see one incident alert on google drive but when i we check the status page I don't see any.

Yeah, i noticed that too. For whatever reason, the “status” attribute of the “most recent update” doesn’t show “available” even though the service on the non-JSON version of the page indicates no errors. This appears to be a situation where Google did not keep the JSON and the web page in sync.

It’s line 522 that’s the issue. It doesn’t match what’s being displayed on the main web page:

The current DS just counts the number of incidents that are not “AVAILABLE”. It wouldn’t take much to count the number of incidents in each status and have each as a different datapoint.
I was just giving this a try as well. Thanks
@Stuart Weenig ! this works great!@Gopimiriyala_HCL I’m also seeing what you are seeing in regards to Google Drive. I’m a bit out of my element here (Hence the reason for borrowing Stuart’s script), but I think there may be an incident with Google Drive from September where Google did not update the status to “AVAILABLE”Check this out: https://www.google.com/appsstatus/dashboard/incidents/yqfXS87CRC6TNqfmSzLi
I’m not sure how to work around this other than possibly contacting Google Support and asking them to update the status to reflect that it has been resolved.

Thank you Stuart, for helping. Yes it looks like the page is not getting synced with web page. As Con suggested we may try checking with support with our findings.
I will check and get back asap.

Ok, i took another look at it over lunch and modified the DS to count the number of incidents in each status. Unfortunately, i can’t find what the possible values of status are so, right now they are limited to AVAILABLE, and SERVICE_DISRUPTION. When more statuses are discovered, just add them as datapoints. The script should output them; you’ll see them in the poll now results.
Same link as above to download the new definition and then you can import it into your portal.

That may be the only thing that can be done.

Hi Stuart,
Thank you for the quick turn around, apologies for bit late reply as i was on leave.
As suggested i have added new DS and could see that all instances are getting as no data some instances and in some as “available 1,3,2 etc.. and only one google drive instance are getting values as available and Service_desruption. So is this expected ? if yes how we can alert on the issues on the portal, kindly suggest.
Thank you,
Gopi M
