Linux Processes via SSH

Does anyone know of a datasource(s) that can monitor Linux processes via SSH?  Unfortunately, SNMP is not an option for us.

  • I've raised this concern as well y'day ( a href="https://communities.logicmonitor.com/topic/5892-monitoring-linux-processes-their-status-resource-usage-etc-via-ssh/#comment-13628" rel="">https://communities.logicmonitor.com/topic/5892-monitoring-linux-processes-their-status-resource-usage-etc-via-ssh/#comment-13628 ).
Stuart shared a DS created by him that basically monitors the processes. I've deployed it to our environment & it's working fine (applied some tweaks according to our needs but, overall it's working)

    Hope it helps you guys.

  • Hey @BrianG, we actually don't have anything official for linux processes via SSH just yet.

We'll get this into the queue, we really should have parity between the SNMP and SSH monitoring offerings for linux.

  • It is almost one year since last update. Now Logicmonitor supports SSH?

  • Any new developments with this? We are looking for a Datasource that will monitor Linux Process's via SSH. We would like to know when the process has stopped and alert on that. We do not need the Performance metrics of the Process's.

    Thank you
